Description:

The project consisted of manufacturing four rolling formworks for the construction of the new Ponte D. Antónia Ferreira “A Ferreirinha” bridge in Porto (Portugal), a project with high structural responsibility that required compliance with standard EN 1090 in its EXC4 execution class. The structures, made entirely of S355 steel and weighing a total of 298 tons, were designed to ensure robustness, precision, and safety during the construction of the bridge. The manufacturing process, which took four months to complete, included approved welding processes, exhaustive dimensional controls, non-destructive testing, and complete traceability of materials, ensuring the maximum technical rigor and quality required for a civil infrastructure project of this magnitude.
